UnlockMyMobile is a unique website offering a range of Mobile Phone Unlocking services across the internet at very competitive prices. The site (http://www.unlockmymobile.com) was launched in early 2003 as a sister-site to Shop4Facias (http://www.shop4facias.com).
UnlockMyMobile chose a Business Site-Report hoping that the feedback they received would help them to gain an understanding of how visitors perceived their site and what additional features could be added to improve the site and increase their ROI.
Having not used this type of service before, UnlockMyMobile were unsure about the usefulness of the feedback they would receive. Simon Hookway from UnlockMyMobile said "We were a little sceptical at first about this service, but having completed the business package, we have found the service invaluable. The feedback received was priceless. Getting feedback from friends and on web-forums is very difficult as few people have time to spare to dig beneath the homepage.
Of the respondents to the Site-Report, over 80% had not used a mobile unlocking service before. 77% of the Site-Reporters thought that the first impression of the site was good or very good. Over 60% of the Site-Reporters thought that they'd use the service in the future. Many of the Site-Reporters commented on how professional the site was but that there were some spelling and grammatical errors. Several Site-Reporters suggested that more detail be provided about why the mobile phone service providers lock handsets and what unlocking involved. One of the key improvements suggested was the inclusion of live support so that when visitors had a question they could receive live responses rather than wait for email responses. The difficulty in navigation to and from the forum was also mentioned by a number of Site-Reporters as something that needed addressing.
Since receiving this great feedback, UnlockMy Mobile have been busy improving their website based on the recommendations received. "Not only has it allowed us to see how users view and use our site, we have also been able to identify areas that need work to make sure our customers find our site both easy to navigate and use.
